Minimal house and techno wizard Ricardo Villalobos has announced his first solo release on Rhadoo, Raresh and Petre Inspirescu’s [a:rpia:r] imprint with his ‘Empirical House’ LP.

Featuring his distinctly tripped-out and hypnotic style, Villalobos delivers four new cuts that showcase his whimsical sound profile while delivering functional dancefloor excursions. Intricate percussive elements bounce through smooth atmospherics on each track.

Although the forthcoming release is also the first from [a:rpia:r] in over a year -following 2015’s ‘Parcul Cosmos’ LP by Dan Andrei- the label has been a guiding force in the underground due to the busy touring schedules of its founders. The ‘Empirical House’ LP features the unmistakable sound they’ve been playing in clubs, warehouses and festivals around the world.

The ‘Empirical House’ LP will be released on May 5 as 2x12" vinyl.
