Bonobo (Maya Jane Coles Remix)

Bonobo's 'The North Borders' is a firm Mixmag office favourite and one of the finest electronic albums of the year.

It's a lush, driving and often euphoric listen and further cements Bonobo's rep as a producer of the highest quality.

Now the first track of the album, 'First Fires', has been remixed by Maya Jane Coles and we've got the first full play of her version.

Maya's another artist who has released a fine artist album this year (titled 'Comfort') and 2013 sees her at the peak of her game. She takes 'First Fires' and drops it into the deep zone, turning a soaring vocal number into a subterranean 4/4 roller.
