Pioneer DJ has announced a new and enhanced version of its USB-only XDJ1000 deck.

The XDJ-1000MK2 arrives newly armed with a number of the features from the top-of-the-range CDJ-2000NXS2, including a 7" full-colour high-resolution touch screen.

Improvements have been made to the track browsing functionality, including the new Track Filter that filters tracks by BPM and key, and the Matching feature which suggests fitting tracks to mix in that users have previously tagged.

Further new abilities of the deck include setting up to eight hot cues on a track, automatically quantised cue and loop points, and connectivity for the DDJ-SP1 controller for easier use of the interface. It also now able to play high-quality FLAC and ALAC files.

The XDJ-1000MK2 will be released in September. For further details check out the introductory video below and head to Pioneer DJ’s website.
