Pinch drops new single on Cold Recordings
Early back catalogue cuts also get their first digital release
Bristolian dubstep pioneer Pinch is back with a two-track release dropping this Friday on Cold Recordings.
A sister project to his foundational Tectonic imprint, ‘ColdR009’ will see the producer return after a year-long hiatus from the label. Both sides stick to a 128BPM sonic workout, flipping from the deep-sea dubplate ‘Water Bomb’, with its squelchy bass line to the futuristic ‘Cold New Worlds’.
Alongside the 12” cut, Cold Recordings’s back catalogue, featuring early releases from the likes of Batu, Acre and Ipman, will also be available for the first time digitally. And with a new bi-monthly Tectonic show kicking off June 7 on Radar Radio to top it all off, expect to hear a whole lot more from Pinch this month.
‘ColdR009’ is out June 2 on Cold Recordings. Pre-order it on wax here or stream it here.
