Family Guy aired on FOX last night for its mid-season 15 return with a comedic poke at DJ culture.

The episode, titled Peter's Def Jam, acts as a milestone for electronic music, making it to one of TV's most statement-heavy pop culture shows.

In the beginning scenes, Peter, Quagmire, Joe and Cleveland start a podcast series which eventually leads them to DJ a local club.

Backstage at the event, the club's promoter exclaims to Peter that he should headline his upcoming Electric Clam Festival.

In hilarious reference to every non-seasoned listener who claims electronic music is too repetitive, the promoter yells: "You've been playing the exact same song for 14 hours. That means you're great!".

Peter responds with a fitting: "I don't know - someone gave me a pill and all I want to do is feel your jacket".

Griffin goes on to accept the headlining festival slot without Quagmire, Joe and Cleveland but soon goes deaf as the plot progresses.
