NYC's Panorama Festival forced to cancel sets after stage floor collapsed
Acts like DJ Shadow were unable to perform
Panorama Festival's sophomore edition took place this past weekend in New York City, featuring big headlining moments from Nine Inch Nails, Frank Ocean, A Tribe Called Quest, Solange and more.
However, on the festival's opening day on Friday, several artists were cancelled or delayed due to a stage floor collapsing in the afternoon.
Said to have occurred around 5PM EST during Isaiah Rashad's set in the indoor Parlor stage, attendees were evacuated immediately and the stage was closed immediately after. Breakbot, an artist scheduled the play later on that day on the stage, was rescheduled while acts Cherry Glazerr and DJ Shadow were cancelled completely.
To my fans...I'm deeply disappointed not to be playing tonight @PanoramaNYC because of a technical issue in our tent earlier today...
