Moon Boots in The Lab NYC

The Lab NYC is Mixmag and Smirnoff Sound Collective's weekly afterwork party where we stream the best American and international DJs from the intimate space connected to our Brooklyn office. This Thursday, Mixmag brings Moon Boots in for a massive serving of feel-good funk.

Moon Boots, who gained momentum through his work with the French Express label, is known for his celestial disco sound and master touch in music curation. The previously Chicago-based Brooklynite is a pure master of funk, in his true element behind the decks with an ear-to-ear smile. He arrives to The Lab NYC ahead of his highly anticipated performance at Electric Zoo's Anjunadeep stage. Moon Boots came onto the Anjunadeep label with an original production back in 2015, contributing to the 'Anjunedeep07' compilation with 'Red Sky'. His latest releases are the soulful, up-beat 'Gonna Give It' and an hour-long Sunday School Sessions mix.

Moon Boots will be hitting Electric Zoo's stage on Friday September 2, sharing the Sunday School curated installation with Âme, Lane 8, Yotto and more. Grab single and 3-day passes here.

Holding Thursday's opening slot is Eno, the music director and resident DJ of New York's elite luxury, disco party curator, Caché. His brand is an image of indulgence and top of the line tunes, acting as an event producer, artist community and talent buyer. Eno's passions for classic house and groovy disco shine in his performances, with recently gained support from Bondax, Amtrac, Soulection and more.

The Lab NYC is strongly powered by Void Acoustics. Tune into our Facebook page or watch Moon Boot's exclusive live set below starting Friday 8:00pm EST.

The Smirnoff Sound Collective is all about bringing fans closer to the DJs, providing up and coming talent with a solid platform and throwing unique events where fans and artists can party together. Check out more from the Sound Collective here
