Even before sharing its line-up, North Carolina's Moogfest has already made quite a few statements with the event's evident commitment to social issues: first, by refusing to honor the state's new anti-trans law introduced in March of 2016 and later by creating a Protest Stage as a "dedicated space for resistance" at Moogfest.

Now, the festival shares its musical talent which leads with Flying Lotus, Animal Collective, Simian Mobile Disco, Derrick May and Gotye, who will appear as part of a tribute to the late French producer Jean-Jacques Perrey. Additional talents include Avalon Emerson, Jubilee, S U R V I V E and Peanut Butter Wolf.

Moogfest has also previously announced its three outstanding themes: Transhumanism, techno-shamanism and protest. The festival takes place from May 18 through 21. See the full line-up below.
