Mixmag has tapped Brooklyn disco masters Razor-N-Tape for the first label focus of the newly launched Beats 'N' Beers video series.

Beats 'N' Beers, in collaboration with The Beer Necessities, brings weekly episodes celebrating the love for beer and vinyl culture.

Every Wednesday the two editorial outlets and label of the month will curate one beer paired with one record release, selected to highlight an intruiging fusion between the essence of a great track and flavor profile of a special craft brew.

The concept of the new series was built around the much needed mid-week chill, taking a break to enjoy a cold one while listening to good music.

Razor-N-Tape, founded by JKriv and Aaron Dae (who happens to be a true beer aficionado), has become one of New York's underground mainstays. The disco imprint, known to push the boundaries of epic funk and soul, has created a name as one of the most well-respected independent disco and house labels with support from Derrick Carter, The Black Madonna and Jackmaster.

Mixmag and The Beer Necessities will collaborate with Razor-N-Tape to produce four episodes of Beats 'N' Beers.

Stay tuned for the first label focus installment on November 1.
