Dance 88/89 is a brand new night from Sankeys and it's introducing itself to Manchester on March 27.

Celebrating acid house, Sankeys owner David Vincent says the party aims to "put the fun back into dance music" and the line-up for the secret location party next month will certainly help initiate that notion.

Chicago house pioneer Marshall Jefferson (pictured), Fabio & Grooverider, Nicky Holloway, Mr C and 808 State all play, helping to take you "back to the acid house and Balearic beats of the Summer of Love 88/89".

After this, it goes to Ibiza for the summer, kicking off on May 25 at Sankeys, welcoming guests such as Judge Jules, Alfredo, Bushwacka!, Terry Farley and Danny Rampling.

Regarding the Dance 88/89 parties, Vincent said: "I want to thank the Universe for allowing me to be able to tell the story of the beginning of dance music in such a magical way.

"I also want to thank these legendary DJs, who have put their trust in me to re-produce the golden era of dance music to the world. These DJs are members of the original Beatles of house music and my childhood heroes."
