Maceo Plex will play the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam for ADE
An underground takeover of the city's premier gallery for historic art
Like clockwork, the city of Amsterdam will soon be overtaken by the full force of electronic music for the week of Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE). Besides the conference portion of the event, the entire city opens its doors to specially curated events from top talents from all over the spectrum for the showcase week.
Maceo Plex is no exception, and is making history this year around with a very special show at none other than the Rijksmuseum, one of Amsterdam's premier museums and home to famous pieces of art by Rembrandt, Johannes Vermeer and more.
Thanks to promoter Audio Obscura, Maceo Plex's October 21 event will mark the first time the museum has ever collaborated for and with an electronic music project.
The show will take place in the museum's tunnel, which to any previous visitors and Amsterdam residents, will be obvious as the museum's main entryway, and will take place on October 21 from 7 to 11pm.
Entry is free, but only with a confirmed RSVP before October 18. Apply here.
