Legowelt and DJ Harvey to play Hobart City Hall rave
'Transliminal' will run over four nights as part of Dark Mofo festival
Hobart City Hall will be transformed into an industrial-scale rave space as part of Dark Mofo festival this Australian winter.
'Transliminal,' presented by Red Bull Music Academy, will run across four June nights featuring DJ Harvey, Frank Booker, Legowelt (pictured), fellow L.I.E.S artist Lipelis, NYC writer and musician Juliana Huxtable, Maurice Fulton back-to-back with J'Nett, and Melbourne's Andras and Chiara Kickdrum among others.
Australian audio-visual artist Robin Fox will complement each night's music with a bespoke laser composition that will draw on some of his past work.
It's the first time the City Hall has been used in such a way for the rising arts festival, which is run by the Tasmanian capital's Museum of Old and New Art.
A limited release of tickets are on sale here. Dark Mofo runs from June 8-21.
