Joy Orbison has assembled the latest instalment of Dekmantel’s Selectors series. On ‘Selectors 004’ the London artist delves deep into UK dance music history.

Over four sides of vinyl the collection captures rare breakbeat, ‘90s drum and bass, bass and techno music from the likes Source Direct, R Solution and L.E. Bass. More contemporary tracks come from Beatrice Dillon and Klein.

The producer and DJ follows on from Motor City Drum Ensemble, Young Marco and Marcel Dettmann who have all previously contributed to the series. Listen to snippets here.

"The UK at its best is a celebration of diverse cultures intertwining and creating beautiful results," Joy Orbison says. "Hopefully this collection of music can document a piece of that. Now more than ever, it seems important to acknowledge and celebrate this."

‘Selectors 004’ is out on November 13. Preorder it here.
