Iggy Pop is a fan of The Black Madonna
The punk icon also calls most of dance music "high paid crap"
Not one to hold back, punk legend Iggy Pop took to his BBC Radio 6 Music show over the weekend to express his thoughts over what he called the “usual mountain of high paid dance crap” within the electronic music world.
Despite his negativity towards the scene, he was quick to express his fondness for Mixmag favourite The Black Madonna, explaining how he would “like to meet” the selector sometime, as he played out her recent hit ‘He Is the Voice I Hear” to his listeners.
As both an artist and an influencer, The Black Madonna is recognised internationally for her astute selections, electric performances and her continued vocal presence within the industry.
