Helena Hauff's new album is "unapologetically raw"

Helena Hauff is releasing a new album, 'Qualm', on August 3. The album will be released via Ninja Tune, the same label that released Hauff’s 2013 debut.

The German DJ’s last release was her 2017 four-track EP, ‘Have You Been There, Have You Seen It’, but we haven’t had an album from Hauff since 2015’s ‘Discreet Desires’ (which we gave an impressive 8 out of 10 for at the time).

Known for her sets spanning acid, electro, EBM, techno and post-punk, this latest production is "unapologetically raw". Hauff described the process as "trying to create something powerful without using too many instruments and layers".
