Haçienda Classiçal adds four more 2017 dates
One of the UK's favourite shows is back
Haçienda Classical will play four new dates for the summer of 2017.
With four dates already announced and shows at London’s Royal Albert Hall and Manchester’s Castlefield Bowl already sold out, curators Graeme Park and Mike Pickering have added more shows this year.
On July 14, the event will be at Kew The Music festival at Kew Gardens before going on to play in Lytham, Newcastle and Liverpool in August and Brighton in September.
Pickering and Park have constructed a new set featuring a number of fresh takes on old tracks in collaboration with the Manchester Camerata Orchestra.
Park said: "It would have been easy to keep most of last year's set list, but as we dug deep into the rich seam of classic tunes that were big at The Haçienda, it became clear that there are so many tracks that deserve the unique classical treatment."
Tickets for the event can be bought here and the dates can be seen below.
April 14 – Leeds First Direct Arena, Leeds
April 22 – The SSE Hydro Arena, Glasgow
May 26 – Royal Albert Hall, London (sold out)
