Glastonbury was a muddy masterpiece

Who says a bit of mud has to stop the fun? Glastonbury founder branded this year the muddiest ever since it began 46 years ago, but that didn't result in glum faces and moaning about the UK's inability to produce decent weather all summer long.

If anything, it brought people together. People quite literally getting stuck in the mud just meant strangers helped each other out and seeing people slipping and sliding all over the place was a reason for almost constant laughter.

We know for sure the punters had a blinder and it looks like some of our fave artists did too according to their photos on Instagram. Check out our gallery above.
