Follow Funkineven on his way to the club in the new ‘Fallen’ film
Exploring the concept of his analog-driven debut album
London-based producer Funkineven, aka Steven Julien, has shared a short film focusing on the concept behind his debut album ‘Fallen’.
Directed by Shane Connolly and produced by NTS Radio, the film follows Julien as he travels from a rocky beach in the country to a gritty nightclub in the city, with the music from his debut album serving as the soundtrack.
‘Fallen’, which was released by Julien’s Apron Records in July, features two contrasting motifs as the listener takes a trip through various emotions via light and dark textures. The film serves as the ideal visual interpretation delivered directly from the artist's creative mind.
