An ideal industrial setting for the iconic club
Photos of the Kraftwerk power station showcase an industrial oasis of sorts, with Tresor’s club being a separate entity located in the same building.
Found on Köpenickerstrasse, the space was built during the same time period as the Berlin Wall. The environment within features a rugged aesthetic that’s ideal for Tresors brand of techno.
Tresor features three floors, including the Globus and iconic vault, a 30 metre-long tunnel which carries sound in a way that’s unique to this location.
Kraftwerk itself is closed to the public, but hosts the annual Berlin Atonal festival among other private events, while Tresor is open every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.
