Fatboy Slim and Pendulum headline the 25th Volt Festival
The unique event goes down in June
One of central Europe’s most unique events, Volt Festival, is back for it’s 25th year from June 27 to July 1.
Fatboy Slim (pictured), Pendulum, Ellie Goulding, Jess Glynne, Martin Garrix, Knife Party and Fritz Kalkbrenner all feature on the line-up this year alongside a host of local talent.
It’s a tradition for Volt Festival’s biggest artists to receive a statue of a chair under their name, placed in the city of Sopron where the festival is held. Past artists to receive a chair include The Prodigy, Paul Kalkbrenner, Moby and Sven Väth. This year, Fatboy Slim, Ellie Goulding and Pendulum will all receive chairs in the city.
Located on the Austrian-Hungarian border 60kms from Vienna and 80kms from Bratislava, the festival attracts 150,000 people a year.
