New York party brand BlkMarket Membership ends with a final Apollonia party

The iconic NY party brand throws their last event this July 4

After 11 years of successfully throwing underground events as a dedicated team, Taimur & Fahad of the NYC mainstay BlkMarket Membership have announced that they’ll each be heading up their own unique projects to add to the depth and diversity of the NYC underground scene.

Adventures in the Deep and The Selectors - two connected but separate nightlife brands - have existed as side projects between the two since 2012 and 2017, respectively. Now, Taimur & Fahad are shifting their focus to continue to build on these events independently, apart from their shared commitments to BLKMARKET.

Adventures in the Deep, driven exclusively by Fahad, launched in 2012 with headliners Sven Weismann and Maya Jane Coles, and has since grown to bring artists such as tINI, Andrey Pushkarev, Matthew Dekay, Bill Patrick, Willie Graff and Norm Talley.

Taimur’s personal vision The Selectors held their first event in the summer of 2016 and welcomed names such as Ryan Crosson, Craig Richards, Nicolas Lutz and The Agha Brothers.

“Fahad and I have been working side-by-side on BlkMarket for over 11 years. From warm-up sets to closings, we’ve been fortunate enough to invite and play alongside so many inspiring people as part of the BlkMarket Membership,” Taimur Agha said. “We’ve grown and explored sound together as a harmonious team, but we have also forged our own creative relationships over the years. Now, we’d like to like to focus on cultivating those relationships.”
