Parisian pioneers Ed Banger Records have joined forces with Danish headphone maker aiaiai to celebrate their upcoming 100th release, with a limited-edition headphone model.

Ed Banger developed the sound profile for the TMA-2 Modular Headphone System in line with the label’s own preferences. Marketed for loud listening preferences, they provide a heavy, powerful bass which renders well even at very low volumes.

Talking about the concept, label-head Busy P explains: “Years ago, Brodinski gave me a pair of the original TMA-1 headphones. I played with them and loved them right away. Dark, minimal and high quality... Not another headphone toy. Then Mr. Oizo stole them from me. He’s been playing with them ever since then. But this seemed like the perfect and natural opportunity for me to get my own again”.

The configuration also comes with a special edition Ed Banger protective pouch and is contained in Ed Banger-branded packaging, de-signed by the Ed Banger Records-affiliated designer SO-ME in his distinctive style.

With a limited-edition run of 300, the TMA-2 Modular Headphone System retails for €240. Take a look here or check it out below.
