The Lab Los Angeles is Mixmag and Smirnoff Sound Collective's weekly post-work unwind where we stream only the finest American and international DJs, live and direct from our Downtown LA office. This Wednesday, Ed Banger Records is taking over The Lab LA with Busy P.

There are few electronic music aficionados that aren't familiar with the catalogue and influence of French label Ed Banger Records. Created in 2003 by Pedro Winter after a decade playing the role of manager for Daft Punk, Ed Banger was created simply to showcase music Pedro loved and blend genres like never heard before.

Eventually adopting the now beloved moniker of Busy P, Pedro is also the link that brought together a pair of friends that would eventually become known as Justice. Most recently, the label celebrated its 100th release with a compilation made up of contributions from Breakbot, Mr Oizo, Boys Noize, Justice and of course, Busy P himself.
