Keysound Recordings producer E.M.M.A. (pictured) is offering an opportunity for girls to get into dance music by offering a free music production workshop.

Taking place at Radar Radio, every attendee will be provided with a free copy of FL Studio 12 at the event which runs from 12pm to 4pm on March 19.

Working in collaboration with Fruity Loops Studio makers Image Line, E.M.M.A. will front the lessons and be joined by Hyperdub artist Ikonika, DXP Recordings boss Dexplicit and Night Slugs producer P Jam.

Speaking about the project, E.M.M.A said: "This is for girls who've ever heard a shit tune in the club and thought, 'I can do better than that'.

"If we create a fun environment together with the tools, expertise and support needed to get people off the starting blocks, I think we could be onto a good thing. Everyone will get four months full access to FL Studio software for free so that they can make a few bangers before summer.”

If you’d like to attend the workshop, email [email protected] before March 11 to apply. Participants will be required to bring a laptop, USB drive and pair of headphones.
