DVS1 brings his custom system The Wall Of Sound to ADE 2017
Inspired by the artist's old school rave upbringing
DVS1 has just announced the return of his coveted The Wall Of Sound showcase, coming to ADE this year with Helena Hauff, Oscar Mulero and more on October 19.
The conceptual series, which was launched in 2015, has thrived as one of dance music's most stimulating presentations. Built around the importance and art of audio, each year DVS1 designs an exclusive speaker setup with a different sound company that stands at the forefront of the event.
DVS1 details that experiencing music through elite speakers is what fueled his artistic development: "Music became a physical energy instead of just something I listened to. DJs are now front and center and always the star of the show, but when you have the wall of sound idea executed correctly, the star of the show is the sound system".
The Wall Of Sound for ADE 2017 will be in collaboration with Reaktor Events at Warehouse Elementenstraat, where DVS1 and Funktion One will bring an enormous rig of 15 double 21" subwoofers to the dance floor.
