Defected Croatia takeover in The Lab LDN: Sonny Fodera b2b Franky Rizardo

The Lab LDN is Mixmag and Coors Light's weekly live stream, powered by Void Acoustics, where we showcase the finest DJs direct from our world famous office party.

Next Thursday we return from our jollies in Ibiza back to our London base with a special Defected Croatia takeover helmed by Sonny Fodera and Franky Rizardo..

Now that we’ve left the sunny climes of the White Isle, we’re craving another slice of sunshine action, and Defected’s Croatia festival looks like the perfect option. Taking place in Tisno’s paradisiac The Garden Resort across August 10 to 15, the six day party is headlined by artists such as MK, Eats Everything and Kenny Dope.

Boat party tickets are close to selling out, full festival tickets are running very low, and day tickets are now on sale. Head to Defected Croatia’s website to make the purchase.

Two other artists on the bill are Sonny Fodera and Franky Rizardo, who will be getting us in the mood with a 90 minute back-to-back session in The Lab LDN. The duo are Defected favourites, with over 40 combined releases on Defected Records and a total of 16 appearances at the label’s 2017 Ibiza residency this summer, and are sure to kick the room off with an irresistible blend of fist-pumping house.

They’re each well-versed in making and spinning tracks that fire up a dancefloor: Franky’s ‘Same Man’ is currently the longest running Beatport #1 of 2017, and Sonny’s ‘Take It Easy’ remix with Mat.Joe held the title for longest running top spot in 2016.

The Lab starts at 5:30pm BST on Thursday, July 20. You can watch it back over on our Facebook page at the same time on Friday, July 21, and on MixmagTV from 7pm BST.
