Danny Howard moves Radio 1 show to Friday slot
Catch him from 11pm, starting November 10
Danny Howard has secured a Friday primetime slot for his new BBC Radio 1 show.
He joins the likes of Annie Mac and Pete Tong on the station’s esteemed Friday schedule.
Speaking about the move, Howard said: “It feels so surreal to be part of BBC Radio 1’s legendary Friday night dance line up. I grew up listening to Pete Tong and now to be broadcasting alongside him and Annie Mac starting the weekend is a dream come true.
“I’m excited to bring my new sound to the airwaves every week showcasing the best in electronic music and championing the world's best DJs and producers. It’s gonna be a vibe!”
Starting November 10, he will be rolling live from 11pm every week.
