Ben Klock and Marcel Dettmann have shared the first full bit of audio from their new collaboration.

The 'Phantom Studies' EP will be the German pair's first joint release in 10 years and the 100th 12" on Ostgut Ton.

At over eight minutes long, the title track is a creeping, hypnotic techno cut with menacing synth prods and a continuous gentle rustling of percussion.

Ostgut Ton says the 2xEP, out on January 27, sees Klock and Dettmann "parlay their deep personal alliance and musical repertoire through emphasis on new functional techno, as much as hypnotic, melodic and soulful music by thinking outside the box."

Listen to 'Phantom Studies' below.
