For the first time ever, the International Library of African Music has been made available for remixes by artists such as Rudimental (pictured) and My Nu Leng.

'Malawi' is just one of 18 albums in the 'Beating Heart' collection that focuses on one country at a time. Proceeds will go towards the 'Beating Heart' food scheme and 'Garden to Mouth' which teaches crop growing skills and nutritional knowledge.

All artists have given their time for free and according to a press release, "only 1500 copies of 'Beating Heart: Malawi' need to be sold to provide a sustainable provision of food for a school of 500 children."

Other artists such as Machinedrum, Throwing Shade, Clap!Clap! and Malawi's own Drew Moyo appear on the album and it's released June 3.

You can hear snippets of recordings from 'Malwai Originals' on the Beating Heart SoundCloud and pre-order the compilation album here.
