Anja Schneider leaves her Mobilee label after 12 years
The imprint head departs to start a new project
Anja Schneider has just announced she has officially left Mobilee Records, the imprint she founded 12 years ago.
The news arrived via a Facebook post, which detailed that the mainstay house and techno label would continue under the direction of Ralf Kollmann.
Since starting in 2005, Mobilee has become one of the best known underground German labels, releasing works from powerhouses like Pan-Pot, H.O.S.H. and Maya Jane Coles.
Schneider's decision to leave Mobilee will allow her to launch a new label called SoUS Music, which the artist calls the "most personal project of my career". She elaborates that SoUS will be centralized around the simple connections between the loved ones who have given her support throughout her musical development.
