Adam Beyer has teamed up with Dense & Pika on the ‘Going Down’ EP, forthcoming on Drumcode.

Dense & Pika first released music via Drumcode in 2015, and this collaborative EP came about after the label boss spent two days in their studio after Junction 2 back in June.

Since then, the thundering techno tracks have been played in their DJs sets including at ADE and Spazio 900 in Rome.

Drumcode head Beyer said: “I’ve always liked collaborations – they bring out the best in me. I’m also a big fan of Dense & Pika’s raw sound, so this worked well. Chris and Alex are great to produce with and are really clear with their vision when they make music.

“I like their work techniques where they run things through hardware and record live takes before cutting them up in DAW (Digital Audio Workstation). I used to work a lot like that in the past, so we have a similar work-flow. They also have a dry English humour which suits me perfectly.”

Dense & Pika are playing a three hour set at Familia at Egg London on January 14, you can grab tickets here.
