It would be a crime to call any of the artists listed above as being overlooked, as all are iconic and influential artists who helped shape the dance music industry with their distinct sound profiles. That said, revisiting their early work provides a glimpse at their development into becoming leading tastemakers.
'Kirk' off Mr Oizo's debut EP titled '#1' is a quirky, wonky track that still possesses an effective dancefloor style. Throughout Oizo's career he's pushed the boundaries, but here we get a snapshot of the French innovator's early work.
