Highlights for the pre-IMS showcase
On May 23 Mixmag took over Pacha Ibiza for a pre-IMS showcase with a collection of artists currently buzzing in the industry.
As the crowd packed the venue just before midnight, the beats began to role in. Bicep, Honey Dijon, Mall Grab and Anna Wall all showcased each of their distinct sound profiles, fusing the past and present to deliver a masterclass of house and techno.
Mixmag has been high on these artists for years, with Honey Dijon being tapped to headline the first Lab Austin while Bicep recently supplied an extensive playlist that represents their hometown of Belfast and Mall Grab was tapped for an Impact mix last year. Anna Wall, a close friend of the Mixmag crew, has been a rising talent on the DJ circuit and is set to make moves this summer with festival gigs at Bestival and Meadows In The Mountains.
