Who? Parisian pairing with a penchant for deep house, techno and disco.
Why? Before getting together less than a year ago, Damien Roussel and Raphael Cesario were smooth operators on the Paris party scene and beyond, working in the worlds of illegal parties and basement raves. After picking up on their similar approach to music the duo decided to get together. Things moved pretty fast for the pairing with their remix of Mario Basanov's 'We Are Child Of Love' being one of the breakthrough tracks of 2012. What makes this Mix Of The Week so special is their clean and minimal approach to DJing and production and their masterful building of suspense.
Where can I see them? The Mekanism play Needwant alongside Mario Basanov at London's Basing House on August 24.
