While the UK rocked to Creamfields, SW4 and the LED festival last weekend, the Mysteryland festival took place in Holland. We hear it was a blast. Here's a video:

Fever Ray, lead vocalist of electronic duo The Knife, is once again teaming up with Andreas Nilsson, the director of her stunning 2009 show, for her forthcoming solo live dates around Europe.

Karin Elisabeth Dreijer, aka Fever Ray, will take in six dates throughout September and audiences can expect a spectacular show complete with lasers, her incredible vocals and striking new costumes, as seen in the photo above.

Peter Hook's highly praised memoir 'The Haçienda: How Not To Run A Club' is being published as an exclusive limited Special Edition boxed set - an essential collector's piece.

Legendary Joy Division and New Order bass guitarist Hooky tells all in his book, which is a great insight into the tumultuous 15 years of the The Haçienda - mixmag published an exclusive extract from the memoir when it was released last year.

Inside the Special Edition boxed set you'll find signed and individually numbered volumes with previously unpublished material, plus a vinyl 10" record in which Hooky revisits classic New Order tracks and turns in the entirely new track 'The Viking'.

Publishers Foruli have designed and created the boxed sets with the help of Hooky himself and the packages are completed by a special art print suitable for framing.

There are only 400 copies of the Standard edition (£300) which even includes a part of the club's dancefloor while there are 100 copies of the Deluxe (£600) which also contain a piece of the Haçienda's granite bar top. Two extra Ultimate editions are also available which include one of only six handmade custom FAC51 Haçienda bass guitars.

No matter how busy he is taking over the universe with his all-conquering Planet Turbo tour, the lovely Tiga still has time to give away free shizzle like this – his latest remix of The XX. The track is a dubby, Basic Channel-inspired reassembling of one of Tiga's favorite bands. On doing the remix, Tiga said, "There's just something special about making out in London, your mouth bursting with toffee and emotion, that ugly ferris wheel thing looming in the distance...This remix is a love letter to British Romance, from the heart of a Canadian Revolutionary."

This year’s Berlin Festival takes place in just over a week’s time and yet more names are still being added to the already impressive line-up. Electronic duo Underworld have announced a string of tour dates to follow the release of their long-awaited new album ‘Barking’. Global dance music heavyweight Hed Kandi have launched a next generation remix and digital music app for iPhone and iPod Touch users. The app is built on a brand new, easy to use platform called Fireplayer that allows users to remix their favourite Hed Kandi tunes and share them with their friends through social networking. Users will also be able to access info on Hed Kandi events in the UK and internationally, stream Hed Kandi radio shows, browse and download music through iTunes, as well as get news, images and video footage exclusive to the app.

Last week I moaned about how when good things happen bad things seem to folow, this week I found the opposite is also true. Last week I lost my job at Hed Kandi, which I was obviously gutted about, however it didn´t stop me having the best week ever! This was helped by the fact that loads of my friends were over here on holiday. There were 16 of them staying in a villa just outside of San An. It was so lovely to see some familiar faces after being away for so long and I was especially excited to see them as they always have the best pre and after parties at uni. Also as they were on holiday it meant they had the money to go to all the big nights and as I was unemployed I had the time!

Tuesday (pictured) we went to Space for Carl Cox who was supported by Fatboy Slim, who is one of my favourite djs so had I a really good night. We managed to stake out a prime spot on one of the podiums and danced all night before heading to Bora Bora to watch the sunrise.

Thursday we went to Cream at Amnesia which had an amazing line up including John O´Callaghan, Ferry Corsten, Eddie Halliwell (who all put on good sets) and ofcourse the return of Deadmau5, who collapsed from exhaustion a few weeks ago. The atmospher was incredible, the thing I think that seperates the Mau5 from other djs is the show he puts on aswell as just the tunes he play, there is the anticipation of what head he is going to be wearing, the fact at one point in his set he was eating cheese from a long fork and at another point he actually came out from behind his decks to greet the crowd. The Mixmag terrace was absolutly rammed and everyone was holding on to every beat he dropped proving the Deadmau5´s residency at Cream is not one to be missed.

Then Friday was Shit party, a workers party which is held at the Zoo once a year where everyone dresses up and proceeds go to charity. It was so much fun, but also very messy as you could imagine. I did let the side down as I didn´t have an outfit till the last minute so ended up just spray painting a sheet silver and making it into a toga and put some leaves in my hair! Lots of people made a real effort though, I saw M&Ms, blue people, a Mr Bassett Licourice allsort, BICs, a facebook page and the winner who was a motorised hover!

Seems like last week was the best week to get fired!

The forthcoming double CD is the sequel to the critically acclaimed 'Pieces in a Modern Style' in which he produced, arranged, and performed classical compositions using modern electronic instruments and techniques. In Pieces in a Modern Style 2, he presents arrangements of both well known and less familiar works and gives them his unique interpretation. An additional disc includes his own remixes and variations, as well as remixes by Jakwob, Ferry Corsten and John Digweed.
