By now, if you're into house music, you'll be familiar with Patrick Topping and if you're not then where the hell have you been hiding? Over the last few years, the shining star from North Shields has gone from small-time promoter to worldwide selector and his legion of adoring fans have been with him every step of the way. His early releases via Jamie Jones' Hot Creations helped him carve a name for himself and from there, releases via imprints like Truesoul, Repopulate Mars and Kaluki have only strengthened his name.

His chunky, fun but always stomping brand of tech-house is about as distinctive as it gets and his gig schedule is one of the busiest in the business. In our recent cover story we found out about his favourite "war stories", how he managed to turn his career from bedroom to big room and what he's got coming up next.
