It wasn’t long before he was gracing the Haçienda DJ booth and sharing his own selections to hundreds of revelers. During this time the venue became the influential powerhouse it is known as today, and Garnier was there right at the beginning, fueling the dancefloor with the steady euphoric tunes that laid the foundation for a global movement. But he was only scratching the surface of the potential he had as a tastemaker and as an artist and later he would play a critical role in developing the house scene in France at venues like Rex Club, La Luna and Le Palace.

Although he’s toured the world over and has captivated crowds at the best clubs, Garnier’s skill in the studio is an aspect of his artistry that can’t be ignored. The music he created helped cement his legacy and established a reputation for supplying tracks that could rouse any dancefloor. There’s ‘Crispy Bacon’, ‘Acid Eiffel’ and the absolutely brilliant ‘Man With The Red Face', all of which are absolutely timeless and still get rotation.
