The Frenchman is in full control of his records and his people, with a rampant Ibiza crowd going batshit crazy for his selections. Worth a watch to see David at full force and also to check the Terrace at its finest, with sunlight, fancy dress and beaming faces all round.

The second coming of Christ aka Sven Väth at Love Parade

It's the turn of the millenium and Sven Väth – who will in time become known as the Pappa, such is the velocity of his greatness – is turning in the set of his life at the Love Parade in Berlin. People are doing backflips, light splays across the night sky and Sven is at one with the records he's playing, channelling energy direct into every limb that flails before him.

Wiley and Dizzee back in the day
