New York City is the most famous destination for New Year's Eve celebrations. In the classic party-hard fashion, events will start to kick off well before the 2017 ball drop and run for days with artists like Bonobo, Justice, Recondite, Marcel Dettmann, Tiga and Maya Jane Coles. Thursday December 29

Get Real / Matthew Dear / Walker & Royce by Meanred at secret Brooklyn warehouse

Claude VonStroke and Green Velvet’s DJ super duo, Get Real, returns to New York after a tremendous debut in 2016. The event, held by Meanred, will drop at a secret Brooklyn location, assuringly a giant high-production warehouse. The pair will be joined by Detroit icon Matthew Dear and fellow Dirtybird players Walker & Royce.

Bonobo at Output Brooklyn

Output kicks off its New Year's weekend with an extended DJ set from Bonobo. The experimental artist, fresh off the announcement of a new album, is slated to play night long.

Friday December 30

Justice / Crystal Castles / Hot Chip at Pier 94

On the Friday before New Year’s Eve, RPM brings Justice to Manhattan's Pier 94. The massive Parisian pair is in hot demand, with their anticipated return and third studio album ‘WOMAN’ releasing in November, Gaspard and Xavier have been on a slew of shows, always bringing their best for New York City. The electronic rockstars will be joined by Crystal Castles and Hot Chip for the large scale event.

Bespoke Music Presents Recondite / Daniel Bortz / Nicola Cruz at Output Brooklyn

NYC promoter Bespoke Music is hosting one of its biggest 2016 events on Friday at Output with a special live set from Recondite, supported by Daniel Bortz, Nicola Cruz and WIld Dark. In the Panther room, David Turk, Pablo Romero and Kevin Giraldo will be spinning on a Playmoure showcase.

Chaim / Clarian / Shahar at Schimanski

Brooklyn’s brand new Schimanski leads the weekend with Tel Aviv’s Chaim. The industrial space boasts a brand new sound system and will be offering free admission before 12AM. On supporting duties is Clarian, who has previously released on Kompakt, Turbo and Visionquest, and New York based Shahar, who’s been named one of the most promising new underground acts to hit the scene.
