Junkyard Golf kicked off their summer festival road trip with a glitter covered party

BRIT award winning collective Rudimental teed off the Glitter Ball takeover down at Junkyard Golf Brick Lane on Monday, both as big supporters of Malawi charity ‘Love Support Unite’.

It was the official launch party for Junkyard’s summer festival road trip - travelling to Common People, Gottwood and more in a pimped up VW ‘Golf’ Caddy, to raise funds for the organisation.

Love Support Unite is a grassroots charity, changing lives everyday through sustainable development in Malawi. Their ‘Foundations For The Future’ model takes a holistic approach to tackling the challenge of poverty, integrating education, enterprise, nutrition, health, clean water, and energy in community-owned projects which create self-sufficiency.

Girl gangs Confetti Crowd and The Gypsy Shrine provided the sparkle for the evening with decorations, walkaround performers, and LED hoopers bringing the festival vibe, alongside a string of DJs spinning funk and disco. Their exclusive ‘glittery cocktails’ are going to be available for two weeks across all the Junkyard venues.
