Five videos showing why Street Player has become an essential dance music destination

The youth-driven channel has killed it this year

Since its launch in February, Street Player, the dance music channel helmed by youth-led creative network Livity, has produced a wealth of videos showcasing fresh dancing talents and hot house beats.

Behind the scenes the project is also offering diverse groups of young people with paid training in video production at worldwide locations, providing the next generation of film makers with essential tools to thrive.

To celebrate the fine work Street Player has done in 2016 we’ve picked out five of our favourite videos uploaded to the channel this year. A beautifully textured track from Leon Vynehall, 13-year-old dancer Ellez Bellz throwing some incredible shapes in Stratford, and a clip shot in front of fabric soundtracked by Champion and Four Tet’s contribution to 'Fabriclive 89' that helped draw attention to the #SaveFabric campaign all feature among the picks.

Check them out below. To keep up to date with the best in house music and street dance, subscribe to Street Player here.

1 J Paul Getto & Alex Herrera 'Everything Changes'

2 Leon Vynehall ‘Kiburu’s’

3 Nicky Night Time ft Anthony & Cleopatra ‘Careful Baby’

4 Crackazat ‘Univeral Love’

5 Champion + Four Tet 'Flip Side' | #savefabric
