Sam Russo (Leftroom/ Air London / VIVa Music)

Sam Russo’s hunger to spread his ideas globally is driven by an open minded approach to the floor. Sam’s take on electronic music is rooted in the smooth rhythms of US house and garage, tempered by the expansive deepness of Basic Channel and Maurizio. He is currently expressing these ideas through his own solo productions and a prolific series of studio partnerships.

Starting off at the age of 18 in London’s east end, Sam cut his teeth on the Shoreditch circuit, with essential gigs at spots like Cargo, Herbal. After a move to Southampton he became resident at the city’s notorious Junk Club. Here he gained the invaluable experience of setting the atmosphere at heavyweight parties like Cocoon and Circo Loco.

A laid back character, Russo is equally at home in the tranquil surrounds of Bournemouth or in the hustle of London. At both of these bases he forged strong relationships with a pair of the UK’s current hot properties. On the south coast with Tsuba artist Huxley and in the capital Leftroom boss Matt Tolfrey.

Keen to shed the reserve that many engineers feel when experimenting with new ideas and techniques, his reputation spread quickly. Soon a friendship was struck with Craig Richards, and their studio partnership is now bearing fruit. Red hot productions will soon drop from an as-yet unnamed new imprint conceived by the pair.

The legendary Fabric resident’s out of the box ideas are nurturing ideas in Russo far beyond his years. As well as absorbing the creativity of the Fabric resident in the studio it would be impossible for young producer not to take on board Richards’ gospel behind the decks.

Russo prides himself on finding unique tracks no one has heard of or played before. With an attitude that keeps alive the true spirit of DJing, he thrives on building up a track library on both vinyl and digital. Able to blend both old and new, his ever expanding appreciation of music and rhythm gives him the edge as he continues to build his burgeoning reputation

Josh T (Oddsocks /Louche)

Josh T is yet another export of Northern England's musical mecca, Leeds; the city where he's made a name for himself since moving north eight years ago. As co-founder of Louche, one of the city's most loved parties, he has been rubbing shoulders and supporting many of the industry's biggest players for the last five years, gathering valuable experience as a DJ and a producer along the way. His unique tunes range from snappy edits to dark groovers; he's an excellent sampler but can also twiddle a synth to make some lovely acidic arps and basses. Releases have so far come on exciting new Berlin based Odd Socks, Hot Waves, Manchester's Illusion Recordings and London based Very Very Wrong Indeed, with more in the pipeline for 2012. A sleazy passion for hip hop and RnB lie deep in his loins; hints of which occasionally emerge in his colourful dj sets. A bit of a vinyl junkie, Josh has lugged his bag all over the shop, from Sankeys to the SGP, from Space Ibiza to Croatia's Garden Festival.

Simon Morell (Fina Records)

Yorkshire-bred, Simon Morell is both hard working and tight. He is quickly becoming one of the most talked-about DJs on this page!
Through his residency at DDD, which he co-promoted for the last 9 years, Simon has played alongside some of the longest names in the business and it is a testament to both his modesty and his self-belief that though there was usually very little room left for his own billing he neither cried nor asked any of them to shorten their names. Simon's forte is in being able to perfectly judge the pitch of a night then bend it to his own will taking it to profoundly unexpected places and it is this unerring ability which has seen him secure the patronage of the likes of Ralph Lawson, Loco Dice, Simon Baker and Andrew Weatherall. With Simon at the helm as both resident DJ and co-promoter, DDD fast became one of the most credible and innovative breakthrough nights in the UK picking up nominations for best small club from DJ mag as well constant plaudits from numerous Dance publications and digital press. It is a measure of this success that DDD had a successful 9 year career, no mean feet in these Credit Crunching times!

As the old saying goes one door closes another opens, after spending 9 years of promoting parties Simon has now gone into the record business setting up and running new label FINA Records (www.finarecords.com) alongside mono-cults Matt Long and 2020 vision boss Ralph Lawson.
Away from his beloved label and promotions Simon is a gibbering wreck and therefore hast of times to be sent out on location to play some of the best venues round the country and further afield (lest he eats his own slippers). He has graced the decks at a number of venues up and down the country, highlights being, the Garden Festival Croatia, Mulletover & Eastern Electrics warehouse parties in London, Sunday Circus Glasgow and Ibiza with gigs at We Love and Ushuaia.

Matt Gray (Intuito Records)

2011 saw a considerable rise up the house ladder for Matt Gray and his Intuito Records label having being associated with some of the biggest name in the industry. Intuito Records broke away from the familiar surroundings to go on to spread the word across London with a base at Ministry of Sound, and more recently a new home at Distrikt in Leeds. Matt’s talent and drive is a big part of the success of these events and the label which has opened doors to bookings across the UK and been the inspiration behind his productions.
Matt has supported the likes of Pete Tong on his essential tour, James Zabiela, Maya Jane Coles, Paul Woolford, Youseff , Tim Green, Popof, Gregor Tresher, Ame and most recently was part of the lineup that brought Spaces “We Love” to London.
Expect to see Matt and Intuito Records produce some thing things in 2012

Aartekt (OFF Recordings / Flux)

A new project with big ideas and a fresh take on House music. Their vibe can be loosely described as a unique blend of House and Electronica, infused with organic elements. Their dynamic and exciting sets include live vocals, synths and percussion.

Liam has been producing for 5 years, and is has a very musical background, playing guitar, piano and singing. He also goes under another other alias (Wachs Lyrical), with vinyl releases on Well Rounded Housing Project, LNUK and Lovesick Recordings. Liam runs Vagabondz Leeds and helps produce numerous festivals such as Outlook, Dimensions and Escape to New York. John founded and manages an underground house night in Leeds called Flux and runs events for Red Bull.

Jack Wickham (Catwash Records / Baker St Recordings / Murmur / In:Vision)
Jack Wickham is based in the city of Leeds, the UK's second stronghold of underground house and techno outside of London. Jack began his musical journey in the early stages of 2008 where he had major influences from his girlfriends, brother and his friends.

Jack Wickham has been DJing for 4 years and at just 18 years old set his own night up (In:Vision) in the city of Leeds which started in November 2011. Jack has forth coming releases on DJ Wild’s Catwash Records and Geddes’ Murmur Records. He also has a remix coming out on Bakerstreet Recordings. With gigs scheduled across the UK and Paris over the summer, 2012 is looking to big a year also more releases also to come in the later year. Booking Enquiries: invision@hotmail.co.uk

Ethan Mcnamara (Tomorroaudio)
The youngest member of the lineup and newcomer - Ethan McNamara, will be spinning his diverse selection of underground house and disco on the night. With a record collection that surpasses his years, his sets have been burning up dancefloors at parties across Leeds for the likes of Laloop, Beatstreet, Nest and tomorrowaudio. Definitely one to watch for 2012. Also founder of growing popular blog Tomorrowaudio www.tomorrowaudio.blogspot.com

Tim Morrison (Naive Melody)
Tim was a young lad when he broke onto the scene playing at house parties in Manchester's Fallowfield. Landing on his feet he quickly fell into favour with all the right people and gathered experience playing at various club venues across the city. An unlikely partnership was taken up with Londoner Elliott Mess and this would be the birth child of Manchester's notorious Naive Melody of which Tim Morrison would be resident DJ entertaining punters with an eclectic selection of detroit techno, oddball acid and 80s underground classics. His favorite colour is mauve.

Residents of that Mixmag Thing Leeds. A couple of lads from Blackpool who’ve been seperatley involved in a number of different projects in Leeds over the past 8 years Djing regularly at some of Leeds biggest nights ranging from Dirty Disco, System, Coloursound and much more. A project that started as a bit of fun has now seen there productions gaining notice and releases on the horizon, remix work and a gig at We Love at Ministry of Sound.

Maria Luisa
The enigmatic Maria Luisa has been lost in music from the early age of 17. Studying at music college has given her the building blocks for what is set to be a beautiful explosion onto the scene. After taking a couple of years out to concentrate on her vocal talents, which can be heard on Lee M Kelsall's track 'Transition' snapped up by record label Lucid Dreaming. Maria Luisa is back in full force behind the decks where she has longed to be. After returning to music college to fine tune her mixing and producing talents, Maria Luisa was able to truly get to grips with the 1's and 2's. With help from some very good friends, she was able to practice in 'Stinkys Peephouse' before the doors opened on a Friday. Being able to practice in a such an iconic venue has helped develop her skills and set up what is looking like a very bright future indeed. Expect euphoricly deep house & basslines perfectly matched with her fiery italian spirit and you have a very exciting combination. It takes a very confident woman to step into such a male dominated world...watch out lads.
