'UK Festival Awards 2006' nominations announced
The nominations for the 2006 UK Festival Awards have been announced today and we-re delighted that dance music festivals and artists feature heavily this year.
Creamfields and Global Gathering are both up for the ‘Major Festival- award, Daft Punk and The Prodigy are up for ‘Best Headline Act- and Bestival, Glade, HI:FI, The SLAM Tent (T in the Park), Lovebox, Mylo, 2ManyDJS and Carl Cox have also received nominations.

It would have to be Fat Boy Slim at Global Gathering when, if you were lucky enough to have blagged a free pair of 3D glasses (mine found on the ground) and looked up at the light on the stage little smiley faces appeared wicked! Daft Punk were also amazing in full robot attire at then end of there set wound down slowly like robots running out of power ;o)
alex kidd should have made it mix mag no.1 every time im at a club or planet love he makes the other dj's look tiny the way he throws his tunes out to the crowd and rev's them up by going absoloutly mad himself he is a true ledgend
