The now legendary Swedish house label Trunkfunk is celebrating its 10th birthday with the release of the retrospective mix CD, ‘Ten Years of Trunkfunk’ mixed by label owner and Gothenburg-born DJ/producer Fredrik ‘DJ Nibc’ Nyberg.

Voted Sweden’s Best DJ of 2003 Nyberg has long been a key player in Sweden’s music scene. He has collected several awards for both his DJing and his club nights, with Swedish House Mafioso Axwell calling to his night ‘RA’ club night as “The Paradise Garage of Scandinavia”.

Trunkfunk Records has always had a strong connection to Nyberg’s nights ‘The Eye’ & ‘’RA’ helping put Gothenburg on the map with guests such as Justice, Chromeo, Carl Craig, Danny Krivit, M.A.N.D.Y., Switch, Radioslave and Wiley.

With releases from Stuffa, The Touch, David Ekenback, Ramon Tapia & DJ Assault Trunkfunk has become one of Sweden’s hottest independant labels. ‘Ten Years of Trunkfunk' successfully showcases the underground sound of Gothenburg.
