Huge dance acts to perform at Nike+ Human Race
Moby, Pendulum and Carl Craig will limbering up the masses on 31st August as runners prepare for a 10km race round London.
The Nike+ Human Race is set to be the world-s largest event to combine running and music with similar gigs taking place all over the world.
Teams can have a leisurely rave to live performances from some of the world-s best dance acts before starting the race at 7pm.
Mini stages featuring iTunes-commissioned new acts will be situated along the race route to keep the keen running-types going and all the lazy spectators entertained.
To get contenders even more pepped up, they will start the race at the UK-s most iconic music and sports venue, Wembley stadium.
Moby offers bribes for good album review
Moby has told journalists reviewing his album he will give them 'money and drugs' if they decide to give his album a good review instead of a bad one.
The tongue-in-cheek comments appeared on Moby's blog, referring to his new album 'Last Night'
The blog said: "If you're a journalist and you're thinking of either giving 'Last Night' a bad review or writing something nasty about me I'd be more than happy to send cash/drugs/hookers to you in the interest of receiving good press"
'Last Night' is out on March 31st. For more Moby ramblings check www.moby.com
MOBY BLAMES BALDNESS ON RAVES
Super-geek Moby has cited his involvement in the British rave scene as the reason for his naked cranium. Before he became a global superstar he was playing three gigs a night during the rave days of the early 90s and claims the stress of finding all the gigs made his hair fall out.
"It was a really fun period but incredibly stressful," he's told The Independent. "I'd be driving around trying to find these places. I'd finally get back to London at seven in the morning completely wiped out."
It must have been a hair-raising experience for him...
