The 'Glow In The Dark' tour coming to Global Gathering in July made Kanye West 'lose his mind'.

The rap star says on his blog how working on his new tour has helped him cope with his mother's death.

"I absolutely lost my mind (in a good way) on the new Glow In The Dark tour," he said.

"The constant hours of creating helped me 2 keep from loosing my mind in a bad way. Chris Milk told me tragedy can produce great art and this is definitely true. I am a total mad man now, up till 3 am every night, trying 2 fight pain, board-um, and uncertainty with creativity".

Global Gathering have announced their Friday night headliner will be Kanye West.

The rapper will be bringing his Glow in the Dark tour to Stratford-Upon-Avon for his only outdoor UK show (the other shows will be in the o2 dome).

The Glow in the Dark tour uses robots designed by acclaimed artist Christian Colon and creatures from the legendary Jim Henson’s Creature Shop. Lighting will come from Martin Phillips and John McGuire who where responsible for Daft Punk’s Pyramid.

If you wanted an early bird ticket for Global Gathering I'm afraid you just weren't early enough. The UK's biggest dance music festival has now SOLD OUT of the lower priced tickets, but fret not - there's still plenty of regular and VIP tickets left.

A VIP ticket includes access to the improved covered VIP area, ‘the Golden Circle’ to give the best possible view of the main stage and a separate campsite. Weekend VIP Admission tickets are £165.00 + booking fee, normal tickets are £115.00.
